Living Crochet shows you how to make a round rug in crochet using Katia Winter Washi

9 November, 2017

In this new Craft Lovers, Living Crochet shows you how to make a round rug using Katia Winter Washi. Behind Living Crochet we find Victoria, an architect who is in love with decoration, photography and crochet. As we look at her creations on Instagram it´s incredible to believe that she only started to learn how to crochet a year and a half ago! Furthermore, this self-taught Andalusian has learnt crochet thanks to video tutorials on Youtube. Since then, she tries all the different techniques she can find. And well, now she designs such beautiful crochet pieces like this spectacular rug.

For this crochet project, Living Crochet proposes a combination of 4 natural tones: brown, beige, cream and light grey. Of course, you can combine the colours that work best with your home decor. You only need 7 balls of Katia Winter Washi (Katia Washi tape with mohair) and to be able to work two principal crochet stitches: double crochet bobble stitch and popcorn stitch. These stitches are much easier than you think, you´ll see! And you really will be able to achieve this voluminous and soft aspect for your own rug. Are you ready to decorate your home with this beautiful rug? Well then, follow the crochet pattern from Living Crochet and please, remember to share your progress and results with us.
