Knit in public with Felix! Thank you for taking part in our #FelixKnitsKatia Competition
Nerves, emotion, intrigue! We are going to announce the winner of the #FelixKnitsKatia Competion. But before we do, we want to say thank you…. First, to all the knitters and crocheters who have come out to knit in public with Felix on WWKiPDay. Many thanks also to the Katia stores for hosting Felix and for organising an event in their city. This year the Katia Knit Day Map connected more than 80 events throughout the whole of Europe. And last but not least, a very special thank you to De Estraperlo, the amigurumi artist and creator of our Felix, the happy knitter. Thank you to everybody for sharing your enthusiasm and your desire to have a lot of fun!
Knit in public with Felix
If you’ve been out in public to knit or crochet with Felix this year, pay attention because you are not alone! More than 95 Felix amigurumis are happily knitting all around the world. All you friends of Felix have surprised us over the past month with your photos. Above all, you’ve made us laugh with each postcard we’ve received with the hashtag #FelixKnitsKatia. Excursions in the Woods, strolls along the beach, relaxing moments in the park, visits to our Katia Stores, adventures in the vegetable garden and even from a party…. And of course, he’s knitting his never ending scarf all the time! Furthermore, we’ve enjoyed Felix the chameleon, dressed in striped jumpers, an Andean poncho, sailor’s hat, Mexican sombrero… He’s even grown a moustache, worn glasses and hung a camera around his neck, amongst many other accessories.
And the super prize goes to…
Although all the participants deserve to win the super prize giveaway made up of yarns and Katia magazines, on this occasion, the winner is Balbina Serrano. Congratulations! We hope that this is the start of numerous projects together with Felix. To everybody else, good luck next time, because yes, we are already thinking about new competitions involving knitting and crocheting and having lots of fun. Therefore, so you can keep yourself informed, we recommend that you subscribe to this blog (right column) and follow our Facebook and Instagram pages. Once again, many thanks to everybody who took part in our #FelixKnitsKatia Competition.
