Within a month World Wide Knit in Public Day (June 13, 2015) is being celebrated and once again we want to reward you for taking your love of knit and crochet outside the 4 walls of your home. Get out and be creative! Take a photo of yourself or someone else, in yours or their favourite place, knitting or crocheting with Katia’s yarns: in the park, town square, cafe, college, museum, airport, train, metro stop, beach, mountain… Share it on Instagram with the hashtag #KatiaKiPD2015, mentioning @katiayarns and participate in our Katia Knit in Public Day 2015 competition.
How to participate? Post as many photos as you want on Instagram of yourself or someone else, in any location, knitting or crocheting with Katia’s yarns and include the hashtag #KatiaKiPD2015 and our account @Katiayarns.
Until when can I participate? From 12th may until 12th june 2015.
Who can participate? The whole world! Of course, you must have an Instagram account where you can publicly share photos of your authorship making sure that they meet the requirements of the competition.
What are the requirements for participation?
- Every image must show the action of someone working with either knitting needles, a crochet hook, a loom, fingers… (making fabric in the widest of terms) in a public place.
- The hashtag #KatiaKiPD2015 and our account @Katiayarns must be included.
- The images must be published during the competition dates, from 12th May until 12th June 2015. No competition images must be published before 12th May.
¿Who will the winner be? The image that complies with all the competition requirements and receives the highest number of ”hearts”(Likes) on Instagram by 12th June at 12:00 mid-day (Central European Time).
We will announce the winning image on our Instagram account and the winner will be contacted via direct message on Instagram so that we can send them their prize.
And the prize? The winner of our Instagram contest will receive a Katia kit with 4 assortments of Amigurumi 100% Cotton + crochet, our 5 Spring·Summer 2015 magazines and our new book All the hand knitting stitches 2 (available in Spanish, French, German and Dutch).
