The classical nautical stripe returns to our needles for another summer season. There’s no doubt that nautical stripes are a ‘must-knit‘ for the season. Therefore, in the Katia Chic 93 magazine you’ll find 2 comfortable and cool models which are so easy to knit. White-dark blue, white-red or perhaps another colour combination? Just choose from the Katia Panama, Mississippi-3 and Capri colour ranges to knit your striped jumper. Sport inspired garments are in fashion outside of the gym. In Katia Chic 93 we propose 3 knitted jackets with an ‘old school‘ style. They have been designed to ensure that you’ll stand out in the crowd. Thanks to the yarns and stitches used we can re-evaluate this classic sports garment.
- A gorgeous sports jacket with a vintage cut. The distinctive body part is knitted with Singapur in eyelet stitch and the contrast colour strip along the length of the sleeves with Katia Missouri.
- Much more than a college style jacket. The classic blue and white stripes on the cuffs, waist and collar emphasise the denim effect of Katia Louisiana.
- Katia Moonlight jacket with a shiny tweed effect. And lastly, we propose this jacket knitted in an intense dark blue cotton with elegant silver highlights.
There’s no disputing the fact that garments in openwork stitches are key this summer. There’s a wide range of transparent looks to choose from in Katia Chic 93. This time we’re highlighting two models with really interesting openwork details due to the positioning on the garment and the scale of the stitch. On the one hand, we have a daring top made with Katia Washi Print featuring a very openwork stitch along the length of the abdomen; and on the other, an attractive poncho with symmetrical openwork detail, but with an ‘aged’ look, knitted with 3 balls of Katia Bombay.
