In the case of Bulky weight cotton yarns, they’re perfect for transitional pieces. Due to their volume, Bulky-Chunky yarns are worked with 5.5-8-mm knitting needles or a 6-9-mm crochet hook. One ball of 100 grams of (12 ply) Bulky or Chunky weight yarn can consist of between-125 meters. Another characteristic of these bulky yarns is its low WPI (Wraps per Inch) count of 6-9.
