Yarn with yak fiber

As its name suggests, yak yarn comes from yaks, a buffalo species that lives in the mountains in Asia. This animal fiber is really popular in Mongolia, where it’s used to knit winter clothes. Yak yarn is a really soft and warm fiber, perfect for making winter clothes. This is a resistant fiber, which makes it perfect for everyday garments, like sweaters and jackets. It’s also great to knit accessories, like scarves and hats.
