✨ Discover our Katia Fabrics tulle in all its colors
The tulle by Katia Fabrics is a lightweight, semi-transparent structured fabric, perfect for adding volume and movement to skirts, dresses and costumes. Thanks to its mesh structure, it allows you to layer it, blend colors and achieve magical effects like in this witch costume. It also does not fray when cutting it, which makes it easy to work with and very versatile for creative sewing.

Recommendations for sewing tulle
- Use a Jersey SUK 70/80 ballpoint needle.
- Adjust the stitch length between 2 mm and 3 mm.
- Lower the presser foot pressure if your machine allows it and use a Teflon presser foot to make sewing easier.
- Tulle does not fray, so it does not need overlocking, even though you can finish off the edges using an overlock or zigzag stitch.
- Another option for a clean finish is using French seams.
These tips will make sewing with tulle much simpler and will allow you to achieve an impeccable result.
