Hi! My name is Carolien @createdbycarolien and I live with my family in a small village in the north of the Netherlands. Almost 6 years ago, I taught myself crochet by watching YouTube videos. My first project was a hat for my eldest son, who was 1 year old. Since then, I crochet every day. I always follow patterns loosely and love adding my own twist to a design. Like the wave, check, and diamond motifs in the Textures Blanket pattern I share with you on Katia’s blog. Choose your favorite color of Cotton-Merino Fine by Concept by Katia and find out how to make a stitch sampler crochet blanket.
