Rainbow Garden KAL 2026 Kit – Katia Fair Cotton

Knit a colorful garden with the Rainbow Garden KAL 2026, a knitting project designed by Morgane Mathieu (@trustthemojo) using Katia Fair Cotton, a 100% organic cotton yarn.
This KAL (Knit-Along) is a shared knitting experience where we all knit the same project step by step, learning new techniques and enjoying the process together. This time, Morgane invites you to create a baby blanket with botanical motifs and colorful stripes that combine simplicity, softness, and sustainability.

The Rainbow Garden KAL 2026 Kit includes 11 balls of Katia Fair Cotton in 8 colors:
-4 balls of the main ecru color (no. 61)
-1 ball of each of the 7 contrasting colors, depending on the color set chosen:
S1 – Warm tones: 61 (4), 49, 43, 4, 59, 57, 53, 37
S2 – Cool tones: 61 (4), 56, 17, 47, 18, 46, 8, 37

Final blanket size: 78 x 80 cm (31” x 31.5”)
Skill level: Advanced
Recommended needles: 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles with an 80 cm (32”) cable (worked flat using circular needles due to the large number of stitches)

The KAL starts on April 7, 2026 (12:00 PM · Central European Time) and is divided into 4 parts. Each week, a new section of the pattern will be published on katia.com, including downloadable PDFs and step-by-step videos.

Each kit includes an informative leaflet with all KAL details and a QR code to access the pattern parts and weekly videos starting from the launch date.
