Crochet a summer cardigan

About the crochet Summer Cardigan

For this crochet cardigan I´ve used Concept by Katia Ultrasoft. This yarn is made of 100% organic cotton, but it looks like wool: it has a lot of volume, feels light and is very soft. Perfect for a summer cardigan! I´ve used color 55: I think the light salmon orange color is perfect for summer. The cardigan is worked top-down. By crocheting stitches in the back loop, a beautiful texture is created. I´ve used the net stitch at the bottom of the cardigan and sleeves which adds a beautiful detail. The cheerful flowers add a finishing touch to the cardigan.

Crochet flowers

Use color 50 and 54 a few flowers. I’ve made 14 flowers total.

Start with a magic ring and work the following: [ch 2, 3 dc, 2 ch, 1 sl st] 4 times into the ring. End with a sl st into 1st ch.
