The design of this accessory is very special and different. Furthermore, it has a zipper fastening plus a useful and practical hanging strap. To make this accessory, she has used our poplin fabric for the exterior fabric. Sew an accessory with the fabric toiletry case pattern from Anabel
Anabel has used the printed Poplin fabric to make this accessory. This 100% cotton fabric, with a beautiful floral design, is used for the exterior of the toiletry case and a complimentary pink cotton fabric is used for the lining, flap and sides. - 19 5/8” (50 cm) Freedom Flowers Poplin
- 19 5/8” (50 cm) Pink Cotton Voile
- Thermo-adhesive interlining
- Magnetic snap fastener for the flap
- Zipper in a colour that matches the bag fabric
- 1 metal D ring measuring from 5/8” to 3/4″ (15 mm to 20 mm)
- Small swivel snap hook
- Free origami toiletry case pattern

Step-by-step tutorial
Cut out all the pieces in the exterior fabric and the interlining. Cut out the lining pieces too.
- Attach the magnetic snap fastener and sew the toiletry case flap.
- Sew the flap to the main piece and then sew the sides.
- Insert the zipper as shown in the video.
- Once the zipper has been sewn in, place the upper piece on the toiletry case to sew around the whole contour.
- Sew the lining pieces to join them to the toiletry case, leaving a few centimetres unsewn at one of the sides to turn the toiletry case out to the right side.
- Turn the toiletry case out to the right side and sew the opening closed.
- Make the hanging strap: fold the fabric as if it were a bias tape, introduce the swivel snap hook and then sew the ends of the fabric. Next, sew all around the contour.
- Your origami toiletry case is now finished and ready for you to enjoy using!
