How to crochet the Cozy Jumper

This jumper is made in 4 parts: front, back and two sleeves. The front and back are worked flat, in rows going back and forth from the bottom up, and the sleeves are made in circular. This is an oversize jumper with a V-neckline and a design in the centre.

Sizes or Measurements

Gauge. Using the G6 / 5 mm hook in dc, 12 sts & 8 rows = 4×4”

Materials. 8 balls of Katia Merino Aran col. 88 (lilac), size G6 US /5 mm crochet hook, wool sewing needle and scissors.

Stitches and techniques

• Chain stitch
• Double crochet
• Slip stitch
• Front double crochet relief stitch: work a double crochet stitch inserting the crochet hook between two stitches on the row below, from the front towards the back and then from the back to the front, leaving the stitch on the row below in relief in front of the hook and finish the double crochet stitch. 
• Back double crochet relief stitch: work a double crochet stitch inserting the crochet hook between two stitches on the row below, from the back towards the front and then from the front to the back, leaving thestitch on the row below in relief in front of the hook and finish the double crochet stitch.
• Popcorn stitch: work 4 double crochet in the same stitch, carefully remove the hook from the last stitch worked, insert the hook in the first stitch and in then in the loop from the 4th stitch again and draw the loop from the 4^th stitch through the first stitch.
