Fun, soft and full of movement – this is the Blue Legged Bird jersey knit fabric by Katia Fabrics, featuring a unique bird print in blue and orange shades on a dark blue background. A dynamic and cheerful design, ideal for sewing T-shirts, pajamas, comfy dresses, or children’s outfits. Thanks to its cotton and elastane composition, this fabric fits the body perfectly, offering comfort, elasticity, and breathability. It’s easy to sew with a jersey or stretch needle and perfect for both children’s clothing and casual fashion. Sewing tip: use a ballpoint needle and zigzag stitches.

-Jersey needle, SUK ballpoint/ thickness: 70/80
-Sew with low tension in the top thread of the sewing machine and a small stitch so that, when you pull the seams, the ackstitch does not break. Avoid pulling the fabric when sewing so that the seams do not stretch.
-If you have an overlock machine, ideal for all types of seam, adjust the differential feed until you see that the fabric is not pulling.
-Hem with a twin jersey needle.
-Steam or wash before cutting and sewing.
-Always iron the glitter patterns of JERSEY GOLD on the back of the fabric.
