Katia Nana CAL Kit (November 2021)
Would you like to discover the magic of the granny squares? With this CAL we will be crocheting a baby blanket with 25 different granny squares designed by Catalina @bykaterinadesigns, the talented designer of the Oasis Mandala and Elements of Nature blankets. This design is a classic crochet pattern with a serene, and modern combination of pastel colours. Measurements: approx. 85 x 85 cm.
This CAL kit will be carried out on our Crochet-Along Katia Facebook group where you can join other crocheters creating the same item at the same time. Project: Baby blanket with 25 different granny squares.
Designer: Catalina @bykaterinadesigns, the designer of the Oasis Mandala and Elements of Nature blankets.
Start: November 17, 2021. Join the Crochet-Along Katia Facebook group.
Duration: 5 weeks to make the project at your own pace. During that time, share your progress, ask questions in the group, or help other participants.
Instructions: Each week we will share a part of the pattern, with images and videos, in the Facebook group. The patterns and subtitles will be available in 6 languages: English, Spanish, Dutch, French, German and Italian.
Materials: You will need this Katia Nana Kit containing 14 balls of Katia Cotton-Merino Fine in 4 pastel colours: 5 balls in cream (80), 3 balls in pastel green (84), 3 balls in light lilac (86) and 3 balls in light pink (88). You will also need a 4mm crochet hook (recommended size), a wool needle, and scissors.
Dimensions: Approximately 85cm x 85cm including border. It consists of 25 granny squares, arranged in 5 rows of 5 squares. Each granny square measures 15.5cm x 15.5cm after blocking.
