Alpaca Silver combines a spongy short hair alpaca with a flash of silver. Use this spectacular silky wool to make the most of wide jackets and modern jumpers. Alpaca Silver is perfect for knitting luminous women’s ponchos and radiant winter scarves.
Each ball weighs 25 grams and is 120 meters. This is a fine weight yarn and we recommend using size 4 - 4.5mm (6 - 7 U.S) knitting needles and 3 - 3.5mm (D - E U.S) crochet hook. 8 balls of yarn are required to make a woman's long sleeve jumper in size 12. To make a 4x4" tension square work 19 sts and 28 rows. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry.
