Soft yarn with an unmistakable tweed appearance in mottled colours. Merino with a special 'British' look for cardigans and Scottish checked jumpers. Merino Tweed is a fabulous yarn for classic accessories, houndstooth check jackets, cable ponchos and rustic waistcoats.
Each ball weighs 50 grams and has 80 meters. This is a medium weight yarn and we recommend using size 5-5.5mm (8-9 U.S.) knitting needles. 10 balls of yarn are required to make a size 12 woman's long sleeve jumper. To make a 10x10cm (4x4") tension square work 16 sts and 20 rows. Machine washable up to 30ºC on a wool cycle. Do not tumble dry.
