In any case, if you love knitting Peruvian alpaca wool, here is Essential Alpaca in Aran weight, perfect for knitting with 4-mm needles. You can make all kinds of garments with it: soft, cozy sweaters, practical cardigans, cute mittens... And comfortably machine wash them! Let the stitches flow across your needles while you connect with the essence of this exclusive Superfine alpaca combined with Merino Superwash wool.
Each ball weighs 50 grams and has 80 meters. This is a medium weight yarn and we recommend using size 6-7 (U.S.)/(4 - 4.5 mm) knitting needles or US 7 - H8 (4,5 - 5) crochet hook. 12 balls of yarn are required to make a size 12 woman’s long sleeve jumper. To make a 4x4” tension square work 17 sts and 24 rows. Machine washable up to 30ºC on a wool cycle. Do not tumble dry.
