An incredibly soft 100% cotton fabric with a fun <strong>carrot print<\/strong> on an orange background. This double-layered fabric is perfect for baby and children\u2019s garments and accessories. Its <strong>wrinkled effect<\/strong> grants it a special rustic appearance. The exact measurements of each piece of the backpack are included in the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1020\" height=\"574\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/I5JdBGqRaQU?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cutting the pieces of the drawstring backpack<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Cut 4 pieces measuring 30 x 40&nbsp;cm long. 2 pieces of print fabric and 2 pieces of white muslin for the lining.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Also cut out the pieces that make up the rabbit: ears, legs and tail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cut 2 strips of fabric measuring 4&nbsp;cm x 7&nbsp;cm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As well as 2 pieces measuring 30 x 6&nbsp;cm.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to sew the backpack<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Next, <strong>sew the ears and the legs. <\/strong>With right sides facing each other, sew along the edge of the fabric using a straight stitch, leaving the straight section unsewn to turn it around. Turn the ear, iron it and sew the opening. Do the same with the other ear and 2 legs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Before sewing the backpack, fold the two strips measuring 4 x 7&nbsp;cm as if they were bias tape and sew a straight stitch along the length of them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place both outer fabric pieces with right sides facing each other, and<strong> place the two strips <\/strong>you\u2019ve just sewn in between the fabric pieces, at the bottom corners. At the bottom edge, place both legs centered. Sew along the contour leaving the top unsewn.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Place the lining fabrics <\/strong>with right sides facing each other and sew along the contour without sewing the top.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn the bag inside out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Place the ears <\/strong>centered and sew them to the outside bag.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insert the outside layer inside the lining, as well as the two pieces measuring 30 x 6&nbsp;cm folded in half. This will become the piece that we\u2019ll run the cords through. Pin down well and sew along the entire contour without leaving any openings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Turn the bag inside out<\/strong>, sew the opening and iron it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.katia.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/blogpics-fabrics.jpg?w=1020&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"drawstring backpack\" class=\"wp-image-13918\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sew the bunny tail<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>To make the tail, run a loose thread along the entire edge of the tail and insert <strong>fabric scraps<\/strong>.
