Pumpkins, skeletons, ghosts, spiders, and monsters, in general, are the protagonists of this panel ready to cut and sew.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11987\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.katia.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/slide-posts-halloween-kit.jpg?resize=1020%2C489&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"trick or treat sewing panel kit\" width=\"1020\" height=\"489\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To make this <strong>scary kit<\/strong> we have used a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.katia.com\/EN\/fabric-ppt4-halloween-kit-2046-4.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Halloween Kit Panel<\/a> and some extra materials:<\/p>\n<p>-Bunting:<br \/>\nTonal color bias tape: 66 7\/8\u201d (170 cm) long.<br \/>\n&#8211; Poster:<br \/>\n1 wooden pole, measuring 17 3\/4&#8243; (45 cm) long<br \/>\nCream color cotton cord to hand the poster: 27 1\/2&#8243; (70 cm) long<\/p>\n<h4>Seam allowance<\/h4>\n<p>-Bunting seam allowances: 1 cm<br \/>\n-Poster seam allowances: 1 5\/8\u201d (4 cm) along the upper edge and 3\/4&#8243; (2 cm) along the<br \/>\nsides and lower edge.<br \/>\n-Bag seam allowances: 1 1\/8\u201d (3 cm) along the upper edge and 3\/8\u201d (1 cm) along the sides and the lower edge. Handles: 3\/8\u201d (1 cm) seam allowance<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11989\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.katia.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/panel-kit-halloween.jpg?resize=1020%2C574&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"panel kit halloween\" width=\"1020\" height=\"574\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Bunting:<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Match the pieces of the bunting fabric together with the right sides facing and sew around the edges, except for the upper edge.<\/li>\n<li>Trim the seam allowances at the corners, so the seam edges are easier to manipulate and bulk is reduced.<\/li>\n<li>Turn the bunting pieces out to the right side and sew onto one side of the tape, with the right sides facing together, leaving a distance of 1 1\/8\u201d (3 cm) of tape between the individual bunting pieces.<\/li>\n<li>Sew the tape closed with a row of topstitching.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11771\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.katia.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/222_TELA-POPLIN_HALLOWEEN-MAIN.jpg?resize=1020%2C574&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Panel Halloween Kit\" width=\"1020\" height=\"574\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Poster<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Make a 3\/8\u201d (1 cm) double hem at the sides and along the lower edge and topstitch in place.<\/li>\n<li>Fold 3\/8\u201d (1 cm) inwards and then 1 1\/8\u201d (3 cm) inwards again along the upper edge to make a casing to pass the wooden pole through. Stitch in place.<\/li>\n<li>Pass the pole through the casing and knot the cords onto each end for hanging.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>The Candy bags<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Fold the bags in half, with the right sides of the fabric facing together, and sew the sides with a 3\/8\u201d (1 cm) seam allowance. Make the upper edge hem: turn 3\/8\u201d (1 cm) inwards then turn another 3\/4&#8243; (2 cm) inwards and stitch in place around the whole of the upper edge contour.<\/li>\n<li>Make the handles: fold in half lengthwise and sew along the side with a 3\/8\u201d (1 cm) seam allowance.<\/li>\n<li>Turn the handles out to the right side, then turn 3\/8\u201d (1 cm) inwards at the ends to create a neat finish. Place one end of the handle at each side of the bag. Stitch in place.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Halloween fabrics<\/h4>\n<p>Complete the look for the party with these two printed poplins from the same collection.<\/p>\n<p>The first <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.katia.com\/EN\/fabrics-p113-halloween-main-2101-113.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Halloween main<\/a><\/strong> is a design inspired by the Day of the Dead on a black background. Find the singers hidden in this colorful fabric and name them in the comments!
