I\u00b4m Linda Allegra<\/a>, from Italy, and I am a knitting<\/strong> designer and teacher. My mom taught me to knit when I was a child. I\u00b4ve been working in the textile fibers and yarns production process for over 40 years now. What I particularly love is sharing my work (<\/a>@linda_knitbijoux<\/a><\/strong>). In fact, I teach in my hometown Biella. I love top-down <\/em>constructions and to giving a tailored cut<\/em> to my patterns<\/strong>. I love to enrich my garments with elaborate stitches<\/em> that I often modify. Sometimes my source of inspiration is a stitch, a photo… Then I mentally work on it for weeks before I create the garment. I love having balls of yarn<\/strong> in my hands, touching and smelling them. Even these sensations give me the right inspiration. Like for the See Don\u00b4t See Top<\/em>, a top-down seamless tee pattern<\/strong> inspired in the wonderful textures of Katia Soft Lino<\/a> and Re-Tape<\/a>.<\/p>\n

See don\u00b4t See is the effect this particular yarn creates in pure linen:<\/em>\u00a0light, soft and fresh. The round and slightly transparent yoke<\/strong>, which it is so good during summer, is worked in the round with increases<\/em> distributed evenly and regularly. Once the yoke is finished, the work continues in back and forth<\/em> rows to create two opposite panels<\/strong> that fall without marking the figure. This makes it a wonderfully fresh and summery garment. The i-cord<\/strong> elements in a contrast colour, knitted with the recycled yarn<\/em> Katia Re-Tape<\/a> mark the hems, providing a more casual look. With the top-down construction there are no seams<\/strong>, just 100% knitting delight.<\/p>\n
