Thanksgiver by Katia Fabrics: a collection of fabrics and sewing panels in tribute to healthcare services
Thanksgiver is the name we have given to this collection in tribute to medical services. After more than 1 year of fighting the pandemic on the front line, the healthcare services deserved a small tribute from the entire Katia team. We have designed 4 fabrics and two excited panels inspired by gratitude and resilience. Heart and rainbow prints in red and blue colors on three of our star fabrics, the jersey-type T-shirt, the winter fleece or sweat, and the rustic cotton.
Tribute to healthcare services in the form of a fabric collection
Heart Print
On our most stitched fabric from last season, rustic cotton, we have printed very nice hearts of different sizes, some of them with a pretty face. Silhouettes in white on two backgrounds, one soft mint green, and the other deep red. But the best thing is to see them in action, and for this, we show you what we have sewn with them:
First a beautiful dress with straps and ruffles with rustic cotton hearts aqua. A comfortable and elegant dress model to wear every day.
With the red fabric, sew a comfortable gathered skirt with the pattern included in the new sewing pattern magazine miniME Fall-Winter 21/22. We love the gathered detail at the waistband and the side pockets.
On a plush winter sweat fabric ( sweat hearts coord) we have printed the same hearts but bigger and with different faces. A design that looks great on a sweatshirt like this one from our miniME magazine in Kids size.
Rainbow Print
The following fabric is also a winter fleece (sweat thansgiver coord) in which on a blue background we have printed magical rainbows in white, yellow, and gray. With it, we present you with a basic long-sleeved sweatshirt. A model that you will repeat over and over again, combining plain and prints of our winter terry cloths.
SEWING PANELS
In this panel of jersey fabric (thanksgiver t-shirt) we have designed a drawing tribute to the healthcare services of a stethoscope forming a heart on a cream background and coordinated fabric for the sleeves with suns, hearts, and rainbows. With this panel, sew a basic t-shirt for sizes from 12 months to 12 years with our free t-shirt pattern.
