12 May, 2020

If you like making your own clothes, without being a slave to fashion, you are going to love crocheting this Spring Petal jumper by Laura Algarra. This designer and crochet teacher has been creating her own patterns for four years. She learnt how to crochet from YouTube videos and “since then has not been able to stop”. She loves designing garments: “My objective is to create my own clothing, which is why my pieces are simple, comfortable and timeless. Therefore, they never go out of fashion”.

Laura finds her inspiration in geometrical forms, architecture and nature. From these start points her simple patterns start to take shape. She makes attractive garments that are quick to make using simple stitches. As a result, her designs are published in international magazines and handicraft blogs like this one. So now, she is sharing the instructions so you can crochet your own Spring Petal Jumper. Moreover, it is made with our new yarn Boheme from Katia Concept, a cotton and hemp blend.
