Softshell, the new winter fabric from Katia Fabrics
We really wanted to introduce you to the new Softshell fabric that we have included in our Aw20 / 21 catalog. A winter fabric made up of three layers of fabric that provide very important extra thermal protection, especially as a windbreaker. A comfortable, light, and functional fabric widely used to make sportswear.
Breathability, elasticity and impermeability are the three key points that give this fabric its fame. With it, you can make clothes that mix the properties of three garments in one: raincoats, fleeces, and windbreakers.
The Softshell is very resistant to water, but it does not act as a raincoat. It is a perfect fabric for practicing most outdoor sports. With smooth, water-resistant exterior and fleece interior.

The first print that we show you is Beaver and mountains, in earth tones and with drawings of beavers and mountains on a cream background. With this fabric, we have made a fun backpack and a raincoat. Both patterns can be found in the new ORIGINS sewing pattern magazine.
A second very cheerful print with the cotton flower as the protagonist on a pink background: Cotton flower. Look how beautiful the hooded raincoat we have made with this print.
We continue with a print of forests, mountains, and rivers on a gray background. Here we find foxes, wild boar, and reindeer walking peacefully through nature. Misty mountains.
And finally a more basic pattern in blue with polka dots of different colors and sizes from the Ants & Music collection
