How to sew a shark costume step by step

Here are the materials and tools that you will need and some previous tips for a good preparation.

Materials:

  • Jacket Pattern (12 m -5 years): PDF
  • Shark Tail Pattern: PDF
  • 1m fabric: Summer Sweat Big Shark Sweat
  • 35 cm of fabric: Little Shark Jersey fabric
  • Zipper with separator: 12-18 months: 30 cm; 18-24 months: 32 cm; 2-3 years: 34 cm; 4-5 years: 38 cm
  • 1m of 3 cm wide tape
  • 20cm velcro
  • Thread according to the fabric

Tools:

  •  Scissors
  • Pins
  • Paper scissors
  • Measuring tape
  • Marker
  • Thread trimmer
  • Iron
  • Sewing machine
