May the yarn be with you! Episode II. Some time ago, in a far away galaxy, a crocheter had the destiny of some balls of Katia Tahiti in her hands… Luckily, she could count on the Lalala Toys agents who were guarding the secret of how to crochet some powerful bookmarks in the form of a lightsaber and some indestructible crochet covers to protect any book in the Universe from falling into the Dark Side of the Force.

At this point in history we celebrate the pleasure of reading with World Book Day, which is why a new collaboration between Lalala Toys and Katia has been formed to offer 2 free patterns:  crochet covers dedicated to the master Yoda and to Darth Vader; and lightsabers that can be used as bookmarks, made using Katia Tahiti in Tunisian crochet. Jedi crocheter, it’s up to you to choose the colours of your lightsaber and the logo of your book cover, it’s in your hands to decide which side of the Force you are on… 😉

In previous chapters of May the yarn be with youIn Episode I, Lalala Toys and Katia teamed up to share their plan, with the rest of the knitters and crocheters in the galaxy, to become an adorable Ewok or a rebellious Princess Leia. You’re still in time to download the tribute Star Wars crochet patterns and to make the adorable Ewok hood or the mythical Leia Organa hairstyle.
