Essential in your closet! Panache jumper by @soleneknits, an ultra comfy sweater with cable and eyelet design

11 December, 2020

Thanks to the cable and eyelet design with its ultra easy shape, the Panache jumper will become an essential garment in your wardrobe. You can wear it with everything, and moreover, with a lot of panache! The body is knitted in the round from the bottom up with Baby Alpaca 100% of Concept by Katia. Once the armholes have been reached, the front and back are knitted separately in rows going back and forth. Then, the pieces are joined at the shoulders with a 3 needle seam. For the sleeves, I propose that you pick up stitches and knit in the round with short row shaping.

Solène Le Roux | @soleneknits

Hi! My name is Solène. I’m a knitwear designer and I also organize creative retreats for knitters. I learnt to knit when I was small. However, it has been as an adult when I felt the need to create with my own hands and rediscover the art of slowness. I live in Paris with my husband Tom and our cat Hooper, but our objective is to move to a pretty house in the countryside. For me, knitting has a magic power that helps us express our creativity; a way to reconnect with others, with Nature and even with ourselves. I invite you to discover my patterns on Ravelry, follow my knitting adventures on Instagram and get to know about my forthcoming knit events at soleneknits.com.
