With these 4 videos you are going to learn how to knit a maxi jersey with Tout de Suite, our XXL yarn; a soft pom pom hat knitted on circular knitting needles using only one ball of Katia Polar yarn; a crochet case for your tablet made from granny squares using one ball of Azteca Degradé; and, last but not least, an original crochet visor made from only one ball of Inca Ice.

Designers Awards 2

Finally, we are delighted to present the two winning designs from the second edition of the Katia Designers Awards 2. (More information in this post). On the one hand, we have a hat and maxi scarf set designed by Ana Martín, winner of the Accessories category. A trendy hat and an awesome scarf knitted in an on trend colour combination: cream and mustard. Two simple patterns that combine the simplicity of knitting with large size needles and the fun details you can incorporate including the colour change, fringing and pom poms.

And, on the other hand, an interesting design by Gretha de Jonge, winner of the Women’s fashion category. A simple jumper in a combination of garter stitch and stockinette stitch worked in a very clever way. Also, the fact that the jumper is knitted in one solid colour highlights the effectiveness of these two basic stitches worked in a geometric block design.

Both patterns are free and available in downloadable PDF format on our website.
