Many Katia Fabrics followers are already faithful followers of Katia Yarns, which is why you are going to love this project that we’re going to show you an awesome knit & crochet kit pattern. Made from our S/S 2018 fabrics, to organize all your crochet hooks and knitting needles. An ideal sewing project for beginners that’s so easy to make with the help of our step by step instructions. This is the second challenge that we’ve created for our Sew-Along Katia Facebook Group. The first Sew Along was the baby project featuring the dungaree and hat set and we are continuing this summer with the perfect kit for yarn lovers. This project is both useful, to keep all your needles and hooks neat and tidy, and easy to sew. If you want to learn, have fun and share your progress with others, join us in our SAL.
Knit & Crochet Kit Pattern
All you need for this project are two different fabrics and the pattern which you can find on our Facebook Group page and download for free, or if you prefer, you can buy it in a paper pattern format on our Katia online shop.
Get your sewing machine ready, we’re getting started!
If you want to make your project the same as the one shown in the photograph you will need the following fabrics: 33 1/2″ (85 cm) of the canvas gold Llamas fabric and 23 5/8″ (60 cm) of the Confetti poplin fabric.
If you prefer to use another fabric combination, you can choose the fabrics that you like best from our Spring Summer 2018 Collection which has more than 45 different print designs.
Easy Level Sewing
You will find all the required information about the materials and tools that you are going to need on our free downloadable pattern. In addition to the measurements for cutting the pieces for the two cases, you will also be able to access the pattern for the yarn bag. You can learn to make the 3 pieces of the kit throughout the next few weeks with the help of the step by step videos.

In our SAL Facebook Group #KatiaKitKnitCrochet you can share your progress and see how the other participants are getting along too. A meeting point for sewers from all over the world where we can share, learn and thoroughly enjoy the magic of sewing. Over the next few weeks we are going to sew the whole kit which is made up of a case to keep your crochet hooks in, a case to keep your knitting needles in and a bag to hold your yarn in whilst working.
