2022-2023 Fall/Winter Cottagecore

Baking bread, shaping pottery, taking care of your plants, reading by a window, painting, embroidery, knitting, sewing… The Cottagecore lifestyle trend revolves around returning to more traditional hobbies. Cottagecore is a nostalgic vision of country life and simpler times. Without a doubt, encouraged by the time between lockdowns and the need to disconnect from the digital world with relaxing and healthy pastimes. Sew calmly and without haste.

The new Cottagecore by Katia Fabrics is inspired by this aesthetic movement to connect with simple, soft, comfortable, and warm fabrics. Furthermore, our fabrics blend fruity and floral prints with checks and solid earth tones.

Fleece Sherpa

The new Fleece Sherpa is a knit fabric with a fur effect look, available in 6 colors. This fabric is perfect for coats, whether as a lining or as the outer fabric for a jacket. Fleece Sherpa by Katia Fabrics is a fabric that’ll amaze you because of its feel, warmth, and the magnificent result it adds to all your creations.

Jersey Denim Basic

An elastic T-shirt jersey fabric in a denim color, available in two tones. This jersey fabric simulates a denim effect, but thanks to the percentage of elastic in its composition, it’s incredibly soft and flexible. A comfortable fabric to wear, perfect to sew garments for all the family, like T-shirts, dresses, or comfy pants. Combine the Katia Fabrics Jersey Denim fabric with the Winter Denim collection to achieve a double denim look.

Knit Velvet Cotton

A high-quality elastic velvet fabric available in 8 colors. The perfect fabric to make warm and comfortable pieces. Sew dresses, skirts, blouses, or jackets for your kids and yourself with the new elastic velvet fabric by Katia Fabrics.

Corduroy fabrics

We’ve added two new corduroy fabrics to our catalogues. Unlike our elastic corduroy, which is already available, this is a cotton micro-corduroy fabric in two different versions. Micro Corduroy available in 8 plain colors and Micro Corduroy Print available in 5 different prints.

With the micro corduroy by Katia Fabrics, you can make comfortable and lightweight garments. Perfect to sew skirts, pants, and shirts for kids or babies.

Recycled fabrics

 1. Ribbed Recycled Knit

A circular knit fabric with vertical ribs, its texture is reminiscent of elastic corduroy fabrics. This knit fabric contains more than 50% of recycled polyester, which gives it a soft feel and beautiful drape thanks to the viscose fibers included in its composition. Available in 5 distinct colors.

2. Recycled Vichy Tricolor

The Recycled Vichy Tricolor gingham fabric includes 50% of recycled cotton in its composition. Available in 4 combinations.
