Katia Spring Rainbow, the art of degrade

Crochet or knit a magnificent 4 seasons shawl with one of our most “magical” yarns… Katia Spring Rainbow. And why do we say this? Well, because whilst knitting or crocheting with Spring Rainbow you’ll discover a unique and innovative degrade effect thanks to its manual 4 end elaboration. Knit or crochet a shawl with our Spring Rainbow patterns and see how the 4 ends alternate in a progressive transition of colour. Furthermore, each ball of Spring Rainbow – of any of the 14 colours available – starts and finishes with the same colour.

    Hello:
I am knitting Pattern 14 (Tahiti) in Katia book No 82, pp 57-58. It indicates for the front that to maintain the correct tension on the front band sts that “every 16 rows work 2 short rows over 10 garter sts”. I have been to two yarn stores and they cannot tell me how to do this. Can you please advise as every time I have knit a short row before, the pattern always indicated how many sts to knit before turning, etc.
I look forward to your reply.

Could you please advise if I crochet 1 strand or 4 strands out of the ball of your Spring Rainbow when I am crocheting a shawl?

hello, i am trying to knit the ombre scarf and do not understand the instructions. What are selections 5 and 8 and selections 4 and 7. dont I just knit with the lightest color first and end with the darkest color, all in garter stitch?

    Thank you

The instructions for the simplest ombre shawl says to work in garter stitch ‘increasing 1 stitch from the 3rd row at the end of ever right side row. Does this mean from the 3 row on?

Hi I am knitting the Ombre scarf and I am not sure if I increase at the beginning of every row or skip a row and increase every other row. the instruction say on “the right side” which to mean every other row. Please advise

I purchased the teal ombré wool shawl kit , but lost the pattern. Is there a way in which I can get it?

I am about to start knitting the Katia scarf pattern in Spring Rainbo. I am unsure how to knit the even rows on the graph.
