Vertical rib knit fabric with a texture similar to corduroy. Ribbed Recycled Knit Perl Grey is a super elastic knit fabric thanks to the elastane content in its composition. This makes it an easy fabric to sew and a comfortable one to wear for all the family. This fabric is made of more than 50% recycled polyester and has a soft handle with a beautiful drape thanks to the viscose content in its composition. You can create warm and comfortable baby garments, like trousers and dungarees, using this elastic material from Katia Fabrics.
-SUK ball point sewing needle for jersey, size: 80/12 -Sew with a lower tension for the upper thread on the sewing machine and use small stitches so the seams don’t break when stretched. Avoid pulling whilst sewing the seams so they don’t stretch. -If you have an overlock machine, ideal for all the seams, adjust the differential feed until it can be seen that the fabric is not being stretched. -Sew hems with a twin needle as used for jersey. -Steam or wash the fabric before cutting out and sewing.
